LOCATION
Located on the Florida Panhandle’s Emerald Coast, Destin (often called “The World’s Luckiest Fishing Village”) is famous for its white sandy beaches, emerald green waters, and a plentiful variety of watersports, including fishing, boating, dolphin cruises, and parasailing.
But the gem of Destin, FL is Destin Snorkel. Located in Harborwalk Village at the foot of the Destin Bridge, the Destin Snorkel booth can be found next to East Pass Restaurant at the base of the Emerald Grande Hotel and just west of Margaritaville. S N U B A® WITH DESTIN
WHAT IS SNUBA®?
SNUBA® Guests breathe underwater using a 20-foot air hose connected to a standard scuba tank. The tank is secured to a raft on the surface, which moves with you as you explore. This air supply allows you to dive near the bottom, hover at mid-water, or stay close to the surface based on your comfort level.
Each SNUBA® tour is led by a professional SNUBA® Guide who will introduce you to the equipment and provide a brief overview of what to expect during your underwater adventure.
SNUBA® is a safe and easy way to explore underwater and requires no certification. Whether you’re new to snorkeling or have basic swimming skills, you can enjoy SNUBA® diving. It’s accessible to couples, families, children aged eight and older, and seniors. For certified divers, SNUBA® is a great way to introduce non-certified partners to the experience of breathing underwater.
HOP ON BOARD SNUBA® RUNNER!
Your SNUBA® adventure begins aboard the Coast Guard-approved Snuba Runner. Tours are scheduled throughout the day, each lasting approximately 2–3 hours.
Your Destin SNUBA® experience starts in shallow water, allowing you to take as much time as needed to get comfortable breathing underwater. Once you’re ready, you’ll embark on a guided underwater tour. Throughout the dive, you’ll always be within 20 feet of the raft floating safely on the surface.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
Guests must be 8 years or older.
Guests must also have basic swimming skills and be comfortable in the water
Must be in good health or cleared by a physician to dive (you are required to complete and sign a brief Participant Record & Liability Release Form)
Must participate in a 15-to 30-minute Safety Briefing about the SNUBA® system and what to expect during the tour
Willing to review and practice the skills discussed during the briefing, including: hand signals for underwater communication, mask clearing, proper breathing, skills for controlled ascents and descents, ear equalization techniques and more.
Prior to diving in, a certified SNUBA® Guide will fit you with a SNUBA® harness, mask, fins, and weight belt

DESTIN SNORKEL SHELLING TOURS
Looking for the perfect activity to get out on the water and search for shells and hermit crabs? Check out Destin Snorkel’s Shelling tours.
Guests can enjoy the experience of shelling and even participate in Destin Snorkel’s famous ‘hermit crab’ races! In addition to finding shells and crabs, many people find a variety of marine life; baby seahorses, baby shrimp, puffer fish, blue crabs and file fish. Not only will Destin’s Captain and mate provide an education about the various marine life, they’ll take you searching for dolphins in the Bay and Gulf!
This tour provides bottled water and sanitized mask and snorkel. Be sure to wear your bathing suit, bring a beach towel and sunscreen, and any buckets or nets for the shells and crabs.
DESTIN SNORKEL DOLPHIN CRUISES
Destin’s 90-minute Dolphin Cruise includes a tour of the harbor, highlighting local attractions, restaurants, and the fishing fleet. You’ll cruise through Destin Pass into the Gulf of Mexico, where you can admire the emerald waters and white beaches. Dolphins may appear alongside the boat, and the tour concludes with a scenic sunset over the Gulf or Choctawhatchee Bay. Destin’s Dolphin cruises are a fun and affordable experience for the whole family!
Destin offers both a daytime ‘stay dry’ dolphin tour and a Sunset Dolphin cruise that offers breathtaking views of the sun setting over the Emerald Coast.
DESTIN SNORKEL FIREWORKS CRUISE
Holiday weekends and Thursday nights beginning Memorial Day weekend through mid-August, Harborwalk Village honors the military with song, dance, and a beautiful fireworks show. There’s no better way to enjoy the show than from the water with Destin Snorkel’s Fireworks Cruise.
Destin Snorkel departs the harbor at 8:30 pm with fireworks beginning at 9:00 pm. The Captain will position the boat in the pass in order to enjoy the show. Everyone should experience seeing fireworks while you are on the water. Because Destin’s Fireworks Cruise is so popular, seating is limited and reservations are highly recommended.
